Harjinder qualified in 1992 from the University of Central England, Birmingham and worked as a qualified speech therapist in a range of diverse settings, including Lincoln, Peterborough, Dartford and Stockport.
Harjinder has extensive experience in delivering specialist assessments and interventions to support children across different locations, including the NHS and mainstream and specialist schools.
Harjinder dedicates herself to supporting children and young people with social communication and emotional needs to achieve their potential in life.
Having completed ADOS 2 certification (Autistic Diagnostic Observation Schedule), she can diagnose social communication, autism spectrum and related needs.
Harjinder works within multidisciplinary teams, including a social communication team in HYMS, gaining a holistic view of children with complex interacting needs.
She also dedicates her work to an independent school for children and young people diagnosed with S.E.M.H. difficulties (Social, Emotional, Mental Health).
Harjinder holds a diploma in interpreting; she speaks and understands Punjabi fluently.
