As a parent I never lost belief in my child and what he could achieve, but I spent many years frustrated by the entrenched, stereotypical misunderstanding of him and the lack of constructive support available. My son was written off by many. His application to pursue a career he had dreamed of was achieved by your assessment recognising his individuality, personal qualities and talents.

The Roundway Centre has been a fantastic support for our whole family and school to understand and manage our son so much better. After our son's diagnosis by Catherine Aldred, we worked with excellent therapists through the Roundway Centre, Jaqueline Gaile (speech and language therapist) and Denise Anthony (educational consultant specialist) who worked with us and our sons school. The progress of our son has already been phenomenal in a short space of time. We would 100 percent recommend the Roundway Centre for those parents seeking excellent extra support for their children who have extra needs.

You have supported us tremendously over the past 3 years through initial assessment, PACT therapy, annual re-assessments and most recently through EHCP tribunal. You have helped us understand our daughter better. We now have a watertight EHCP which specifies PACT provision for our daughter and her school. Dr Aldred and our PACT therapist Louisa have always been empathetic, supportive and sensitive to our daughter and us as parents.

The service received at Roundway Centre is courteous, efficient and highly professional. Reports are detailed and individually tailored to enable you to access the correct ongoing support and put in place necessary reasonable adjustments. Catherine is a really good listener who makes you feel at ease with the whole process of diagnostic assessments, which may otherwise feel overwhelming not only to your child but to you as a parent. You feel heard as a parent with regards to your childs strengths and challenges without judgement, and you are met with kindess and understanding.

Her diagnosis and report meant we were able to secure the right setting for our daughter, which will be nothing short of life changing for her. I am crying writing this, thank you so much for the report. It is an absolute true representation of him, a representation I have been trying for years to get people to understand. I cannot thank you enough. It is so challenging with ADHD as I struggle massively with executive function and I myself get so overwhelmed. The support of the Roundway Centre has been a turning point for my daughter. Her grades have improved from ‘D’ to ‘B’ or ‘A’, and our home life is happier as we understand each other better. Thank you! Especially to Denise, I found her so clear and helpful during the diagnosis part.

As a family, we felt stuck on long NHS waiting lists for professional appointments and were frequently told that the services we desperately needed for our son, were overwhelmed. We were struggling to get answers about our son’s needs and the support he needed so when we found The Roundway Centre, it felt like gold dust. The centre has supported us as a family to understand our child’s needs in a thoughtful and caring way. The detailed report we received after his assessment will be important for us to get the early intervention and support he needs. I can’t recommend The Roundway Centre enough, it’s the best money we’ve spent.

Our first meeting with Denise Anthony felt like a break through after months of struggles. It was a revelation to find somebody who understood what were going through. It feels like we are now at the start of a pathway which will help our son find his way and help us support him going forward.

We are so grateful for your time and our great session today. I have to say that your assessment and your work ethics were incredible.
