Welcome to the Roundway Centre
We are a passionate team of expert practitioners with a wealth of experience in education, psychology, and health, as well as supporting neurodiversity, autism, language, and learning needs. We provide more than a diagnosis; we achieve excellent outcomes, guided by a personal approach from assessment and diagnosis to intervention and therapeutic support, following NICE guidance and special education law. Unique strengths, styles and aspirations are identified, harnessed and embedded in an individual support plan implemented by the family and school to empower young people to achieve autonomy and a valued role in life.
Roundway Centre is a multidisciplinary team of speech and language therapists, psychology and education consultants, and educational psychologists who are experts in their field and have over 20 years of experience. The team regularly liaise with outside professionals who provide advice and consultation, including paediatricians, child and adolescent psychiatrists, and occupational therapists. We support schools in increasing their profile of inclusion and special needs support.
Giving young people a voice is at the centre of our ethos, and we empower them to communicate their needs and wishes, to be accepted, understood and celebrated for who they are, and to advocate for themselves. Parents' needs are at the heart of our work; we listen to their concerns and support them to understand their child better and to adjust and adapt their interactions.
Each professional provides a single point of contact for the child and family, representing the wider multidisciplinary team. Our interventions are evidence-based and at the forefront of world-leading research and current legislation.
We support children, adolescents, and young adults in identifying their pathways through education and social relationships and preserving their well-being. We provide individual counselling that builds on self-awareness and insight to help young people reach their aspirations in life.
