Fee Structure

We offer a choice of fees to reflect the level of expertise and qualifications of the therapist. Please enquire about individual quotations. Initial consultation, advice and recommendations (2 - 2.5 hours) - £150 an hour (£300 - £375)
  • 1-hour meeting with parents to ask for background information
  • 40 minutes to assess the child or young person
  • 30 minutes for feedback, guidance and recommended next steps to parents
  • 20 minutes for a written summary.

The therapist may recommend a more in-depth assessment or intervention. Detailed reports are provided with comprehensive assessments. The initial assessment may be online or face-to-face.

Individual Therapy/Counselling Sessions (1 hour) £150

Therapy sessions are 45 minutes or 1 hour per week with one of our senior therapists, Helen Mortimer or Denise Anthony.

Full Comprehensive assessment and medico-legal report - £2400 - £2560 

  • 2-hour developmental history ADIR with parents over Zoom
  • 2-hour assessment with the young person, BOSA online, ADOS 2 or language assessments face-to-face
  • 2 hours reading related reports (existing medical / school reports) and analysis of the individual profile
  • 8 hours of report writing, including individual support plan and recommendations of need (suitable to support SEN and  EHCP processes)
  • 2 hours of parent feedback and a planning meeting with the school or college and parent

The assessment is approximately 16 hours. We ask parents to email copies of previous reports and for their consent to liaise with other professionals and education. Please note extra time may be required for further in-depth assessments. The therapist will ask if you wish to extend the session or book an additional assessment session at the same hourly rate. If you require a report for the start of the term or a specific tribunal date, we recommend allowing 16 weeks to complete a comprehensive assessment and report. Diagnostic reports and individual recommendations require 6 weeks for completion.

Individual PACT therapy sessions (1.5 hours) - £225 per session

Each PACT session is 1 hour with 30 minutes extra therapist time. PACT is offered online or face-to-face. Please enquire about options for PACT in nurseries or schools. Discounts are available for a block of 6 PACT sessions.

Intervention plan (6 hours) - £150 an hour

  • 2-hour initial assessment (face-to-face meeting with the young person, gathering background information from parents and summary feedback)
  • 1-hour reading through previous reports and documentation
  • 3-hour report with recommended intervention and support plan

Please note that further work may be required, such as a feedback session, liaison, or a joint planning meeting with the school or other organisation, which will be quoted at our hourly rate.

Attendance in court - £170 per hour

Parents may require the therapist to attend a tribunal or court hearing as a medico-legal expert witness; please enquire for a quotation.

Telephone and email consultations

The first 20 minutes of a telephone consultation to discuss your needs and explain the service we offer are free of charge. Subsequent telephone discussions, consultations, conferences, online Zoom intervention sessions, and email correspondence are available at the therapist's hourly rate (e.g., to discuss strategies, support for parents and schools, and ongoing support to children and students).

Payment

Invoices are payable on making the booking or within ten working days of the invoice due date. To discuss individual payment options, please email the Roundway Centre Office: office@roundwaycentre.org.uk. Please see our Terms and Conditions for late payment.

Cancellation

We ask parents to contact us immediately by email if they need to cancel an appointment. We request a minimum of three working days' notice for cancellations. Please understand that appointment times are limited. We pride our service on prompt appointments. We kindly ask you to keep appointments where possible or give advance notice of any changes so we can offer you an alternative date and time to avoid losing valuable professional time. We reserve the right to charge the full session fee if you give less than three working days' notice.

Refunds

We are able to offer a refund for bookings with ten working days’ notice; unfortunately, there is an administration fee of £50 per transaction due to bank and administration costs.

Travel - £30-50 per hour and 50p per mile

We can arrange for home and school visits invoiced at the above session fees, with an additional travel time and mileage fee.
