Harjinder qualified in 1992 from the University of Central England, Birmingham and worked as a qualified speech therapist in a range of diverse settings, including Lincoln, Peterborough, Dartford and Stockport.

Harjinder has extensive experience in delivering specialist assessments and interventions to support children in different locations, including working in the NHS, mainstream and specialist schools.

Harjinder dedicates herself to supporting children and young people with social communication and emotional needs to achieve their potential in life.

Having completed ADOS 2 certification (Autistic Diagnostic Observation Schedule), she can diagnose social communication, autism spectrum and related needs.

Harjinder works within multi-disciplinary teams, including a social communication team in HYMS, gaining a holistic view of children who have complex interacting needs.

She also dedicates her work to an independent school for children and young people diagnosed with S.E.M.H difficulties (Social Emotional Mental Health).

Harjinder holds a diploma in interpreting skills; she understands and speaks Punjabi fluently.
