Fee Structure
We offer a choice of fees reflecting the therapist's expertise and qualifications. Please enquire about individual quotations. You may be eligible for the Disability Living Allowance to help fund additional needs for your child, or you may be able to get help with funding on one of these sites: turn2us.org.uk or disability-grants.org.
- 1-hour meeting with parents to ask for background information
- 30 minutes to meet the child or young person
- 15 minutes for feedback, guidance and recommended next steps for parents
- 15 minutes for a written summary.
- Total 2 hours
The therapist may recommend a more in-depth assessment or intervention. Comprehensive assessments provide detailed reports. The initial assessment may be online or face-to-face.
- 2-hour developmental history ADIR with parents over Zoom, Plus initial nursery/school contact (0.5 hours)
- 2-hour assessment with the young person, BOSA online, ADOS 2 or language assessments face-to-face
- 2 hours reading related reports (existing medical / school reports) and analysis of the individual profile
- 8 hours of report writing, including individual support plan and recommendations of need (suitable to support SEN and EHCP processes)
- 2 hours of parent feedback and a planning meeting with the school or college and parent
The assessment is approximately 16 hours. We ask parents to email copies of previous reports and for their consent to liaise with other professionals and education.
Please note extra time may be required for further in-depth assessments. The therapist will ask if you wish to extend the session or book an additional assessment session at the same hourly rate.
If you require a report for the start of the term or a specific tribunal date, we recommend allowing 16 weeks to complete a comprehensive assessment and report. Diagnostic reports and individual recommendations require six weeks for completion.

If further work may be required, such as a feedback session, liaison, or a joint planning meeting with the school or other organisation, which will be quoted at our hourly rate.
Therapy sessions are 45 minutes or 1 hour per week with one of our senior therapists, Helen Mortimer or Denise Anthony.
Each PACT session is one hour with 30 minutes of extra therapist time. It is offered online or face-to-face. Please enquire about options for PACT in nurseries or schools. Discounts are available for a block of six PACT sessions.
We offer medico-legal assessments and reports for SEN and other tribunal or court reports and liaise with solicitors. Parents may require the therapist to attend a tribunal or court hearing as a medico-legal expert witness (£170 per hour); please enquire for a quotation.
The first 20 minutes of a telephone consultation is free; this can be used to discuss your needs and explain our services. Subsequent telephone discussions, consultations, conferences, online Zoom intervention sessions, and email correspondence are available at the therapist's hourly rate (e.g., to discuss strategies, support for parents and schools, and ongoing support to children and students).
Invoices are payable on making the booking or within ten working days of the invoice due date. To discuss individual payment options, please email the Roundway Centre Office: office@roundwaycentre.org.uk. Please see our Terms and Conditions for late payment.
We ask parents to contact us immediately by email if they need to cancel an appointment. We request a minimum of three working days' notice for cancellations.
Please understand that appointment times are limited. We pride our service on prompt appointments. We kindly ask you to keep appointments where possible or give advance notice of any changes so we can offer you an alternative date and time to avoid losing valuable professional time. We reserve the right to charge the full session fee if you give under three working days' notice.
For cancellations, we offer a full credit to re-schedule a new date or a refund minus the bank payment processing fees, plus an accounting and administrative charge of £50, which will be deducted from your final refund.
