About Clinical Services
Many parents ask for advice as to whether their child needs help with language and social communication.
  • Some parents request an in-depth assessment and report summarising their child’s language and social communication needs.
  • An in-depth report can provide detailed information with recommendations of the type of support their child would benefit from to ensure they get the best available help and to contribute to their child’s educational assessment. The report can detail a programme of advice which can be used by teaching staff in school in addition to the support parents can provide at home.
  • Parents may also request specific treatment tailored to their child’s individual needs.
